Role overview
The company is looking for an experienced Communications Manager to guide and coordinate all corporate communication efforts. In this role, you will shape communication plans, maintain consistency in messaging, and support strong engagement with stakeholders, media contacts, and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Direct, coach, and oversee members of the communications team and related workstreams.
- Create and execute corporate communication plans that support business goals.
- Ensure internal and external messaging stays consistent across all channels.
- Write, edit, and manage press statements, announcements, speeches, and other corporate content.
- Work closely with marketing, public relations, human resources, and leadership on communication projects.
- Maintain brand language, tone, and communication standards.
- Track media coverage, public sentiment, and the effectiveness of communication efforts.
- Assist with crisis communication planning and response activities.
- Design communication initiatives that improve engagement and brand visibility.
- Prepare summaries and insights on communication outcomes and impact.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or a similar field is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, media, or a comparable role.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership or management position is preferred.
- Strong written, spoken, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Ability to craft clear, persuasive messages for different audiences.
- Hands-on experience with internal and external communication strategies.
- Well-developed organizational, leadership, and project management skills.
- Comfortable balancing several priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience handling crisis communication and working with stakeholders.
- Capable of working independently in a remote setup.
