Job description

About the Company

Accor and Pullman Auckland are part of a global hospitality group focused on thoughtful service, innovation, and memorable guest experiences. The group operates across 45+ brands, 5,600 hotels, 10,000 restaurants, and lifestyle destinations in 110 countries. The culture is built around caring service, personal growth, and creating meaningful moments for guests, colleagues, and the wider community.

Pullman Auckland combines modern work and event spaces with an energetic social atmosphere for business travellers, leisure guests, and the local community. Its service philosophy, “Progress Together, Anytime, Anywhere,” reflects a commitment to shared progress, meaningful connections, and making a real impact.

Role Overview

Pullman Auckland is seeking an enthusiastic Concierge Team Leader to step into a luxury hotel environment and help deliver standout guest experiences. This role suits someone who enjoys working with people, leading by example, and supporting a fun, skilled, and passionate team.

Key Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day activity at the concierge desk during shifts.
  • Support guests at arrival, throughout their stay, and at departure.
  • Share local area knowledge while encouraging loyalty and promoting hotel services.
  • Guide the team to improve guest satisfaction.
  • Work closely with other departments to make sure follow-up actions are completed.

What You Need

To do well in this role, you should bring a warm personality, a strong interest in hospitality and customer care, and a genuine desire to grow in the industry. You need to be adaptable enough to work across a seven-day roster, including weekends, early starts, and late finishes. The role also calls for someone who values presentation, can handle several tasks at once, works well with others, and is comfortable thinking creatively when needed.

In addition, the role requires a full New Zealand driver’s licence, polished personal presentation, strong written and spoken communication skills, and the ability to lead others effectively.

Working Style and Culture

The company emphasises personality and attitude, with skills developed through training. The brand personality is progressive, inclusive, optimistic, and distinctive. Team members are expected to look for opportunities, build meaningful connections, and create positive impact.

Benefits

Employees can access discounted hotel stays, food and beverage discounts, and spa treatment savings at participating locations worldwide through the loyalty card programme. Daily staff meals are provided, along with ongoing reward and recognition initiatives. There are also opportunities for career development and international progression within Accor.

Diversity and Support

The employer is committed to diversity and inclusion and aims to attract, hire, and promote people from a wide range of backgrounds. Reasonable adjustments can be arranged during recruitment if needed.
