Role overview
The Planner supports the Project Manager in coordinating a large portfolio of projects valued at multiple millions of dollars. In this role, you act on the Project Manager’s behalf to keep project documentation, communications, and controls organized and moving forward. You will be part of a team focused on bringing creative and technical work to life across entertainment, parks, resorts, and consumer products.
What you will do
- Support project coordination by joining meetings, capturing minutes, distributing notes, and helping manage communication with clients and partners.
- Keep contract files, project estimates, and schedules up to date.
- Enter, track, and move project information through PMWeb.
- Help prepare materials for meetings, bids, and presentations.
- Follow up on material and equipment procurement so orders stay on schedule.
- Work with project controls, as directed, to confirm any changes to scope, timeline, or budget.
- Review contractor payment submissions and check that all payment requirements are met.
- Organize and maintain photo records showing project progress.
- Compile and send final records and closeout documentation.
Required background
The role calls for experience in construction, construction project management, facilities management, or a related educational or certification path. You should also understand construction costing, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering fundamentals, along with accounting processes. Familiarity with construction methods and materials is important, as is the ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
Preferred profile
A bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent hands-on construction experience is preferred. The company is also looking for at least 2 years of experience in construction or construction project management, plus a track record of handling several projects at the same time.
Compensation and benefits
The expected hiring range for this Florida-based role is $75,700 to $101,400 per year. Actual pay may differ based on internal equity, location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The package may also include a bonus and/or long-term incentive units, along with medical, financial, and other benefits depending on the level and role.
