About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant, Analytics & Insights to join our Customer Success team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with sales, product, retail, and other Amazon business units to analyze and enhance advertiser performance on Amazon, supporting their marketing objectives. You will leverage Amazon's unique data to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations, aiming to improve campaign effectiveness and uncover new business opportunities. Your daily activities will involve analyzing key business and category metrics, developing data-driven insights, and presenting these recommendations clearly and persuasively.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver impactful insights to major global advertisers to drive their business growth.
  • Serve as an analytical consultant for advertisers, providing insights that inform upfront strategy discussions and negotiations.
  • Cultivate relationships with senior marketing executives (Director and C-level) and establish yourself as a subject matter expert in at least one advanced analytical area of advertising.
  • Develop deep expertise in Amazon's proprietary metrics, continuously refining our methods for analyzing and communicating data-driven insights to advertisers.
  • Influence decisions that improve data accessibility and usability for both internal teams and external partners. Conduct analyses utilizing previously untapped datasets.
  • Author strategic documents with recommendations that shape the operational approaches of partner teams, including Account Management, Sales, and Product.

About The Team

The Analytics & Insights (A&I) organization is dedicated to generating actionable insights from Amazon's unique data to guide advertisers in promoting their businesses. Our insights empower advertisers to make better marketing decisions, resulting in measurable success on Amazon.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proficiency in advanced SQL, with the ability to construct complex queries from multiple tables.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical analysis and metrics into practical insights for advertisers and both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor's degree coupled with over 5 years of experience in client-facing data analysis roles.
  • A minimum of 3 years in consulting with a major firm or 3 years of advertising experience with a leading advertiser (agency or client-side).
  • Exceptional data-driven storytelling capabilities, including the creation and delivery of compelling presentations with outstanding visuals to senior leadership.
  • Fluency in Python, enabling advanced statistical modeling and analysis.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with advertising publishers and marketing/creative agencies.
  • A Master's degree or higher in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field.
  • Experience in a performance advertising role involving significant complexity and scaling challenges.

The salary range for this position is $144,500.00 to $195,400.00 USD annually. The total compensation package will include sign-on bonuses and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D, optional supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
