The organization places a strong emphasis on integrity, fairness, close attention to detail, and sound judgment.

Role overview

Key responsibilities

  • Assess posts, comments, images, videos, and other user-submitted material.
  • Check content against platform rules and community standards.
  • Flag, restrict, or remove material that breaks policy or regulatory requirements.
  • Pass complicated or sensitive cases to the right internal team for further review.
  • Track platform behavior and surface new patterns, risks, or emerging concerns.
  • Keep moderation logs and case notes accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with reviews involving abuse, fraud, or other policy-related issues.
  • Work closely with trust and safety, operations, and policy stakeholders.
  • Help improve moderation workflows and quality controls.
  • Work toward productivity, quality, and compliance goals.

Requirements

  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Business, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.
  • 1 to 3+ years of experience in content moderation, customer support, trust and safety, or a comparable role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
  • Capability to interpret policies and apply them fairly and consistently.
  • Good spoken and written communication skills.
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Comfort with repetitive work and the ability to stay effective while working independently.
  • Experience using moderation dashboards, tools, or case management systems is expected.
  • Professional approach and discretion when dealing with sensitive material.

Preferred background

  • Prior experience moderating content for social media, online communities, marketplaces, or other digital platforms.
  • Exposure to trust and safety operations, policy enforcement, or risk control.
  • Understanding of online safety practices and platform standards.
  • Experience in multilingual or international work settings.
  • Ability to adjust quickly as policies and online trends change.

What we offer

  • A flexible remote or hybrid working setup.
  • The chance to contribute directly to online safety and community trust.
  • Training and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Insight into trust and safety operations and digital platform governance.
  • A collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • A competitive compensation and benefits package.
