Job description

Role overview

This opportunity is being handled on behalf of a partner employer, which will manage applications and all subsequent hiring steps. The company is seeking a Content Operations QA Analyst in Germany to safeguard the quality of ocean freight pricing information used on a global logistics platform.

In this position, you will serve as a key checkpoint between incoming rate data from carriers, partners, and AI-enabled systems, and the final information shown to customers. The work is highly detail-oriented and structured, with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and reliable master data. You will build strong domain knowledge in ocean freight pricing so you can spot mismatches quickly, correct them, and help stop repeat issues. The role is hands-on and places real responsibility on precision, ownership, and analytical problem-solving. You will also help strengthen QA workflows and use AI tools to make daily operations faster and more accurate.

Accountabilities

  • Check ocean freight contracts, rate sheets, and surcharge records carefully before they are published.
  • Compare structured pricing data with the original source materials to uncover mismatches or mistakes.
  • Identify, fix, and escalate issues in pricing workflows to preserve strong data quality.
  • Work with external vendors and partners to resolve data differences and reduce repeated errors over time.
  • Keep structured master data for ocean freight content accurate and well maintained.
  • Spot recurring error patterns and help improve QA rules, processes, and tools.
  • Use AI-supported tools to speed up quality checks and improve detection precision.
  • Assist in updating internal documentation and operational standards related to content quality.

Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy in large, structured workflows.
  • Confident written and spoken English for everyday communication with international partners.
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, including handling large datasets and structured records.
  • Ability to work on your own, manage cases from start to finish, and take responsibility for results.
  • Strong analytical ability to investigate inconsistencies and trace root causes.
  • Clear communication skills, especially in writing when dealing with external stakeholders.
  • Comfort in fast-moving, process-led environments where precision matters.
  • Advantageous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, ocean or air cargo, or supply chain operations.
  • Advantageous familiarity with AI tools or with building workflows that use automation or LLM-based systems.
  • Advantageous experience with ticketing platforms such as Zendesk or similar tools.

Perks and benefits

  • €650 home-office allowance to equip your workspace with items such as a desk, chair, or monitor.
  • 24 paid vacation days, plus local public holidays.
  • Access to a global co-working network through a partner program.
  • Regular company-wide offsites and in-person team meetups.
  • A fully remote-first setup with flexibility to work from most locations.
  • A collaborative culture built around feedback and continuous improvement.
  • The chance to work where AI, data quality, and global logistics innovation meet.

Additional information

This role is processed through a partner-led hiring flow. Applications are reviewed using an AI-assisted matching process designed to shortlist candidates quickly and fairly against the position’s core needs. The shortlist is then passed to the hiring company, while interviews, assessments, and final decisions are handled by their internal team.

By submitting an application, candidates agree that their personal data may be processed for evaluation and shared with the employer in line with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. The processing basis includes legitimate interest and pre-contractual measures. Applicants may exercise rights such as access, correction, deletion, and objection at any time.

Artificial intelligence tools may also be used to assist parts of the recruitment process, such as screening applications, reviewing resumes, and identifying possible inconsistencies or verification signals. These tools support the recruiting team but do not replace human judgment, and final hiring decisions are made by people.
