About Charles & Ivy
Charles & Ivy is a contemporary interiors brand dedicated to enhancing premium living through meticulous design, superior craftsmanship, and compelling narratives. Following the successful introduction of our mirror collection, we are expanding our team to amplify our social and digital presence across all critical platforms.
The Role
We are seeking a highly creative and proactive individual to join Charles & Ivy as we grow our brand's reach on social and digital channels. This is a multifaceted position that blends content creation, social media management, and design. You will be instrumental in bringing the brand's visual identity to life, from producing and editing engaging social media content to supporting the creation of polished creative assets for digital, print, and paid campaigns. Working closely with the Social Media Executive and Senior Creative Lead, you will transform concepts into impactful, on-brand content that resonates with our target audience. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, creative setting, possesses a keen aesthetic sense, and stays abreast of social media trends and content formats. You should be comfortable working with cameras, editing software, and design tools like Figma or Adobe, contributing to both daily tasks and broader creative strategy. As part of a growing interiors brand, you will have the unique opportunity to influence how Charles & Ivy is presented across various platforms, capturing everything from sophisticated campaign visuals to authentic behind-the-scenes stories.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce video content for the brand's social media channels, with a primary focus on Instagram and TikTok, and secondary use on Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
- Edit short-form videos, including Reels and TikToks, utilizing tools such as CapCut and the Reels app.
- Partner with the Social Media Executive to brainstorm creative ideas and execute the content calendar, ensuring all content is planned, approved, and scheduled punctually.
- Capture candid, user-generated content (UGC)-style, and real-time social media material during events and product launches.
- Collaborate with the Senior Creative Lead to design organic and paid social media assets using Figma. Develop straightforward print, paid, and web assets using Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), ensuring all assets are exported to the correct specifications.
- Contribute to broader design discussions, creative brainstorming sessions, and the development of branded templates, with guidance from the Senior Creative Lead.
- Maintain brand consistency across all creative outputs, adhering to established brand guidelines.
- Stay informed about emerging content formats and social media trends to ensure the brand remains relevant and engaging.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in social media content creation, graphic design, or a related creative field.
- Proficiency with design software such as Figma and Canva, with a foundational understanding of Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop.
- Competence in social video editing using tools like CapCut and Reels.
- A strong grasp of current social media trends, particularly on TikTok and Instagram.
- An excellent visual sensibility, capable of interpreting and enhancing brand guidelines.
- Basic knowledge of designing for print media, including understanding specifications and requirements.
- Prior experience with motion graphics using Adobe After Effects is considered an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
- Previous experience working with lifestyle, interiors, or fashion brands is a plus.
What We Offer
- A collaborative team environment with robust in-house creative and marketing expertise.
- Hybrid and flexible working arrangements.
- Employee discounts and opportunities for professional development.
- Regular social events and team-building activities.
- A loyalty holiday scheme.
