About the Role

In this position, you will be part of a retail team focused on delivering a strong customer experience in store. The business offers a wide assortment that goes beyond groceries, covering items such as clothing, kettles, and financial services. What You Will Do

  • Place the customer at the centre of every decision and action.
  • Build good relationships with shoppers and serve them in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Help keep products and services available for customers whenever needed.
  • Handle stock carefully so items stay in excellent condition for customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organised shop floor as well as back-of-house areas.
  • Work according to the training, routines, and processes provided for your department.
  • Comply with company policies and health and safety procedures.
  • Support teammates in other departments when required, even if your main duties are in one area.

What You Need

  • Strong natural customer service skills, including smiling, greeting, acknowledging, and helping customers proactively.
  • A hardworking attitude with commitment to customers, your team, and your department.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks so work is completed correctly for customers.
  • Flexibility and resilience in a fast-changing retail environment.
  • Ability to follow both spoken and written instructions.
  • Reliability and good timekeeping.
  • A smart and tidy appearance at all times.
