Cybersecurity Analyst - AI Trainer

Role Overview

This opportunity is for seasoned cybersecurity professionals who want to help improve advanced AI systems while working remotely with complete control over their schedule. The work focuses on checking whether AI-produced security output is accurate and useful in real-world situations.

As part of the team, you will collaborate with modern AI models on activities such as reviewing security content created by AI, tackling technical security challenges, and sharing feedback that helps refine how the models reason about threats and defensive approaches. Some contributors use this as a side engagement alongside another job, while others make it their main work.

To begin, you will create an account and complete a short assessment that acts as the screening step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid tasks will appear through the platform.

Responsibilities

• Assess AI-written cybersecurity material, including threat analysis, vulnerability reviews, and offensive security methods, to confirm whether it is technically sound and realistic.
• Build and solve security-oriented technical tasks that are used to train AI systems.
• Produce clear technical write-ups and relevant code for security use cases.
• Share feedback that helps improve future AI models for cybersecurity.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of practical cybersecurity experience in areas such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or similar work, including government or military cyber operations.
• Working knowledge of coding, including the ability to move around and update a codebase comfortably.
• Strong English fluency at native or bilingual level, along with solid writing ability.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Professional cybersecurity certifications are advantageous, such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or comparable credentials.

Additional Information

This is an independent contractor engagement. Payment is issued through PayPal, and you will never be asked to pay any fee to participate. The role is open only to candidates based in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.

Working Style

The position is fully remote, with work done from your own computer and on a schedule you choose yourself. You can select the projects you want to take on and decide when to work.

Compensation

Projects are paid on an hourly basis, starting at $50 to $100+ per hour, with bonus rates available on certain assignments.
