Role overview

This position is based in London and sits within the Technology function of a fast-moving hotel operations business. The successful candidate will take end-to-end ownership of the company’s internal business intelligence environment and automation capability, helping teams make better decisions through reliable data, scalable reporting, and streamlined workflows.

The role focuses on building a well-managed analytics setup, improving reporting quality, and creating automation that reduces manual work while strengthening data controls. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to convert business needs into practical data solutions.

Core responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for the internal BI platform and reporting library, improving accuracy, usability, and overall performance.
  • Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and datasets so the business can rely on a consistent single source of truth.
  • Design automated processes in Power Automate to cut down repetitive tasks and improve data integrity.
  • Work with business stakeholders to turn operational requirements into scalable reporting and automation solutions.
  • Oversee BI services in Azure, including deployments, monitoring, and access management.
  • Apply strong governance, security, and data-quality controls across reporting and analytics processes.
  • Provide insights on hospitality metrics such as occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and booking patterns.
  • Help business users adopt self-service analytics through guidance, training, and best-practice support.

Technical and professional requirements

  • Solid hands-on experience with Power BI, along with strong working knowledge of Tableau.
  • Exposure to Azure data platforms and Microsoft technologies.
  • Practical understanding of Power Automate-based workflows.
  • Strong appreciation of data governance principles and controls.
  • Background in hospitality, hotels, or a comparable sector such as retail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
