About Cisco

Cisco builds technology that connects and protects organizations in the AI era and beyond. For 40 years, the company has developed solutions that help people and technology work together across physical and digital environments, delivering security, visibility, and insight across the digital footprint.

The company emphasizes innovation, teamwork, and global impact, supported by a broad network of experts and builders who work collaboratively to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Compensation and benefits

The expected starting salary range for this role in the U.S. and/or Canada is $92,000 to $123,800, excluding incentive compensation, equity, and benefits. Actual pay depends on location, market conditions, skills, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and training. For some locations, the full salary range may differ and can be shared by a recruiter during the hiring process.

U.S. employees may be eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company matching, paid parental leave, short- and long-term disability, and basic life insurance. Additional benefits and perks may also be available.

U.S. employees may also receive paid time away, subject to policy rules, including 10 paid holidays per year, 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees, a paid birthday day off, year-end shutdown leave, 4 wellness days, vacation time, 80 hours of sick leave annually, carryover of unused sick time up to 80 hours, extra time off for urgent family matters, and up to 10 volunteer days each year.

Non-sales employees may be eligible for annual bonuses under Cisco policy. Sales-plan employees may receive performance-based incentive compensation in addition to base pay, with quota and non-quota components governed by the applicable plan. Cisco’s quota-based incentive structure includes tiered payout rates as revenue attainment increases, and there is no cap once performance exceeds 100% attainment. Non-quota elements may pay from 0% to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not require a minimum performance threshold for incentive payout.

Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, participate in a distinct time-off program to satisfy local requirements.
