Role summary

peopleworth is looking for an accomplished Delivery Manager to oversee the smooth operational execution of education and learning programmes. Working within the Employer Group, this position focuses on coordinating people, processes, and stakeholders so programmes are delivered to a high standard and learners receive a strong experience.

The role is central to improving delivery quality, strengthening operational effectiveness, supporting scalable ways of working, and contributing to positive learner outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and refine processes that enable programmes to be delivered consistently and to a high standard.
  • Guide programme coordinators, facilitators, mentors, and other delivery personnel.
  • Serve as the main escalation contact for difficult programme issues and learner concerns.
  • Partner with learner support teams to improve participant experience and outcomes.
  • Organise facilitators and mentors so delivery activities run successfully.
  • Help with attracting, onboarding, engaging, and retaining facilitators.
  • Track programme performance and review operational data to spot opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and sustain productive relationships with key stakeholders and programme partners.
  • Work across functions to meet delivery goals and shared objectives.
  • Identify risks early, prioritise them, and manage them through the programme lifecycle.
  • Assist in building scalable systems, workflows, and operational resources.
  • Bring programme needs and stakeholder input into planning and operational decisions.

Required experience and capabilities

  • Proven background in programme delivery, ideally in higher education, professional learning, training, or a similar setting.
  • Experience leading and developing teams made up of different disciplines.
  • Strong ability to manage operations and improve processes.
  • Confidence in resolving complex issues and handling escalations.
  • Exposure to working with mentors, facilitators, coaches, or learner support professionals.
  • Well-developed stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking, reporting, and decision-making ability.
  • Ability to anticipate and manage operational risk proactively.
  • Clear communication and collaborative working style with varied stakeholder groups.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent learner, customer, or participant experiences.
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, changing environments.
  • Ability to balance quality outcomes with commercial and operational goals.

Recruitment process
