Role overview

Primark is hiring a Department Manager for its Headford Road store in Galway. This is a permanent, full-time position working 5 days out of 7, with a salary of €52,559. The role sits in a fast-growing retail business that focuses on people, growth, and delivering great value to customers.

Key duties

  • Work closely with the wider management team to keep the store operating smoothly day to day.
  • Take responsibility for at least one store department, including ordering stock and ensuring strong merchandising standards.
  • Guide a team of managers and set clear targets that help drive sales.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service across the department.
  • Use learning tools and career pathways to continue building your own skills and progression.
  • When senior leaders are unavailable, take charge of the store during your shift.

Work pattern and benefits

This is a permanent retail role based onsite at Primark Shopping Centre, Headford Road in Galway. The working pattern is 5 days out of 7.
