Role Summary
This full-time, on-site Dermatologist position is based in Doha, Qatar. The selected doctor will assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of skin and hair concerns in both adults and children. The role also includes cosmetic dermatology procedures aligned with the clinic’s services and patient requirements.
Key Duties
- Carry out detailed clinical evaluations for dermatology patients.
- Identify and manage a wide range of skin and hair conditions across adult and pediatric cases.
- Request, review, and interpret relevant diagnostic investigations.
- Perform aesthetic dermatology treatments and cosmetic procedures as offered by the clinic.
- Advise patients on prevention, skincare routines, and suitable treatment pathways.
- Keep precise and up-to-date medical documentation.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to support integrated patient care.
- Follow clinic protocols, safety practices, and applicable regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Medical degree (MD or an equivalent qualification involving 3 years of clinical study) with specialist training in Dermatology.
- Strong clinical knowledge in diagnosing and treating routine as well as complex skin and hair disorders.
- Experience in acne treatment using both medical and procedural methods.
- Capability in cosmetic dermatology services such as injectables, laser-based treatments, and chemical peels, depending on clinic offerings.
- Valid medical license or eligibility to obtain one, along with dermatology board certification or an equivalent credential, and eligibility for licensing in Qatar.
- Excellent communication and patient-counseling abilities with an ethical, inclusive, and culturally aware approach.
- Ability to function well in a multidisciplinary setting, manage workload effectively, and document care accurately.
- English fluency is required; Arabic or other language skills are beneficial.
- Prior work in a hospital or clinic is expected; experience in Gulf countries is an added advantage.
