Role overview

BlupaceTech is hiring for BAND 1 and BAND 2 roles in Germany for several openings. This opportunity is based in Berlin and requires a minimum language level of B2 to C1. Sponsorship is not available for this position. The role is suited to professionals with 4+ years of experience in desktop support and enterprise IT environments.

What the role involves

  • Act as the second point of contact for end-user issues and provide resolution support.
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve complex antivirus-related incidents.
  • Keep stakeholders informed with regular updates on issue progress and closure.
  • Log and maintain accurate ticket updates for all incidents handled.
  • Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2010, Cisco Jabber, and other approved desktop software.
  • Handle basic Mac support for Apple computer users.
  • Set up, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
  • Carry out routine preventive maintenance on desktops, laptops, and printers.
  • Perform repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and other approved peripheral devices.

Required experience and capabilities

  • At least 4 years of professional IT experience.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Windows 7 through Windows 10 environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Objects.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to install and troubleshoot PC hardware.
  • Experience with enterprise antivirus tools and helpdesk ticketing platforms.
  • Knowledge of mobile device management for iOS and Android devices.
  • Understanding of enterprise encryption solutions.
  • Experience managing Windows PCs and laptops through Active Directory.
  • Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet SLA targets.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and internal customer service skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-moving work environment.
  • Willingness to work outside standard hours, including weekends, when needed for projects or urgent support.
