Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is for seasoned cybersecurity specialists who want to help improve advanced AI systems while working remotely and choosing their own hours. The work centers on using practical security expertise to test whether AI-generated outputs are accurate and useful in real-world defensive and offensive scenarios.
As part of the team, you will collaborate with modern AI models on security-related tasks such as reviewing generated content, working through technical problems, and sharing feedback that helps shape how the models respond to genuine threats and defenses. Some contributors use this as a side arrangement alongside other work, while others make it their main professional focus.
How the process works
After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that functions as the screening step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid tasks will become available through the platform.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-produced cybersecurity material, including threat analysis, vulnerability evaluations, and offensive security methods, to check whether it is accurate and grounded in real practice.
- Build and solve technical security challenges that are used to train AI systems.
- Prepare clear written explanations and produce security-related code where needed.
- Share feedback that influences the next generation of AI security models.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of direct experience in cybersecurity, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or a related area, including government or military cyber roles.
- Working coding knowledge, with the ability to move through and update an existing codebase.
- Strong English fluency at native or bilingual level, plus solid writing ability.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Cybersecurity certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or similar credentials are considered an advantage.
Contract and payment details
This is an independent contractor arrangement. Pay is handled through PayPal, and applicants will never be asked to send any money. Project work is paid hourly, starting at $50 to $100+ per hour, with bonus rates available on some assignments.
Work style and availability
You can choose which projects to take on and when to work. The role is fully remote, done on your own computer, and designed for flexible scheduling.
Eligibility
Only candidates located in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand may apply.
