Role Overview

This senior leadership position sits within KFC MENAPAKT FZ-LLC’s Marketing function and is centered on digital commerce growth. The role will guide the delivery of performance marketing, CRM, loyalty, and martech activation plans while working in close partnership with internal teams, external agencies, and franchise stakeholders. The objective is to strengthen campaign execution, improve digital platform performance, and deepen customer engagement across the MENAPAKT region.

The position carries responsibility for roughly USD 1 billion in system sales and supports more than 2,400 employees, including Operations and Restaurant Support Centre teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape a single digital commerce direction for the region, adapting the approach to each market’s maturity while keeping the customer experience consistent across channels.
  • Steer regional media and customer acquisition efforts, working with performance agencies to deliver modern campaigns and strong market benchmarking.
  • Create data-led engagement systems that strengthen loyalty programs and build a more meaningful emotional connection with customers.
  • Expand martech and analytics capabilities so the business is prepared for a privacy-focused, cookieless digital environment.
  • Turn research and customer insights into practical actions that improve performance and decision-making.
  • Lead test-and-learn initiatives in areas such as loyalty technology, media automation, AI/ML, and customer experience improvement, then scale what proves effective.
  • Motivate and develop teams, agencies, and franchise partners to support a forward-looking and high-performance culture.
  • Connect regional goals with global priorities and maintain strong alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee execution of regional plans and seek technical input from relevant specialist functions and leadership groups when needed.
  • Build productive working relationships with franchisees, agencies, and external advisors.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 10 to 15 years of progressive leadership experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, martech, or transformation, ideally within QSR, retail, or FMCG.
  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or Technology is required; an MBA or other postgraduate degree is preferred.
  • Strong expertise in customer acquisition, lifecycle engagement, and retention across multiple markets.
  • Solid understanding of digital transformation frameworks and the ability to design scalable strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in driving growth through innovation, digital maturity assessment, and future-focused thinking.
  • Hands-on knowledge of performance marketing and the ability to guide both internal teams and agencies on strategy and delivery.
  • Practical understanding of the martech landscape, including platforms such as GA360, Adobe Experience Cloud, and Firebase.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, agency partners, and franchise stakeholders while influencing senior leaders.
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to present complex findings clearly and confidently.
  • Culturally aware, adaptable, and fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an added advantage.
