About The Role

We are seeking a forward-thinking and commercially adept Director of Talent Development to spearhead our organization-wide Learning & Development strategy. This role is crucial for cultivating a future-ready, safety-conscious, and high-performing workforce. You will be responsible for developing a workforce that enhances safety, boosts performance, and supports long-term growth. Your duties will include overseeing impactful learning initiatives utilizing blended, digital, simulation, and experiential methods specifically designed for the aviation sector. In collaboration with senior leadership, you will ensure robust leadership pipelines, adherence to regulatory standards, and workforce preparedness across all departments. A key aspect of your role involves consolidating leadership development, safety and compliance training, operational education, and digital skill enhancement into a cohesive enterprise framework. You will also design and implement a comprehensive airline learning ecosystem covering safety, regulatory, operational, leadership, and digital competencies. Success in this position requires managing the Talent Development budget effectively to ensure strategic return on investment. You will be expected to monitor and report on key performance indicators such as leadership bench strength, capability readiness, and program efficacy. Furthermore, you will ensure compliance with aviation authorities like ICAO, IATA, and GACA, integrating their requirements into enterprise learning frameworks and operational governance.

About You

The ideal candidate will hold a degree and possess at least 10 years of significant leadership experience in Learning & Development or Talent Development. You should be adept at translating strategy and policy into actionable objectives for medium to long-term delivery. While not mandatory, preference will be given to bilingual Saudi nationals with demonstrated leadership experience.
