Role Summary

The Dispatcher is responsible for arranging sub-haulers promptly and accurately for vehicle collection and delivery, while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Key Duties

• Place outbound calls to pick-up locations and sellers.
• Coordinate sub-haulers for vehicle pickup and delivery within required timelines.
• Verify that sub-haulers satisfy company standards before assigning work.
• Encourage new business and support vendor relationship management.
• Use economical vendors to align with budget goals.
• Inform sub-haulers about company policies and procedures.
• Handle incoming calls and provide customer support.
• Keep documents organized, filed, and archived.
• Collect payments for member deliveries and print checks.
• Monitor faxed documents and produce reports as required.
• Follow safety rules and help ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Experience and Skills

Two years of dispatching experience and one year of customer service experience are required. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. The role calls for strong communication, organization, time management, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy, varied environment. Candidates should type at 45 words per minute, have basic ten-key and math skills, and be comfortable using MS Office and other computer tools. Familiarity with office equipment, local geography, and map reading is important. The position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and occasional overtime may be needed. Bilingual ability is considered an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range for this role is $21.05 to $23.71. This position is based in York Haven, PA and is onsite. The role is full time. Overtime may be required on occasion.
