Role summary
The E-commerce Executive for marketplaces will oversee the brand’s performance on major online sales platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Myntra. The role is centered on improving revenue through better catalogue handling, inventory planning, campaign support, and ongoing performance tracking.
The position requires close coordination with internal departments and external stakeholders to keep marketplace operations running smoothly, strengthen product discoverability, and support a positive customer journey. A strong analytical approach, careful attention to detail, and the ability to manage several marketplace tasks at once are essential.
Key responsibilities
- Handle marketplace operations across platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and Myntra, including product visibility, stock status, and promotional activity.
- Create, refresh, and improve product listings by managing titles, images, descriptions, and SEO-friendly content to support better search performance.
- Oversee day-to-day order flow, returns, and cancellations, while working with warehouse teams to keep deliveries on schedule.
- Support the planning and rollout of promotional activities, campaigns, and seasonal offers to increase reach and sales.
- Review sales figures, conversion performance, and return on investment, then share insights that can help identify new growth opportunities.
- Maintain healthy inventory levels by monitoring stock and reducing the risk of both shortages and excess stock.
Experience and skills
The role calls for 1 to 3 years of experience in marketplace-based e-commerce operations. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP, is important, along with familiarity with marketplace seller dashboards such as Amazon Seller Central. The candidate should be comfortable drawing conclusions from data and using those insights to support business decisions.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a closely related field is preferred.

- This is an office-based role.
- Working days are Monday to Friday.
