About the Role
Early Bird Club operates six private bilingual daycare locations across Stuttgart, Ludwigsburg, and Leinfelden-Echterdingen. These centres provide care in German and English, supporting children from 8 weeks to 3 years in crèche settings and from age 3 until they move on to primary school in kindergarten groups. The work is based on small-group care and on meeting each child according to their individual stage of development.
The organisation’s locations include Stuttgart/Ost, two centres in Stuttgart/West, Stuttgart Vaihingen, Ludwigsburg, and Leinfelden-Echterdingen. The environment is described as warm, collaborative, and development-focused, with room for initiative, contribution, and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care, guidance, and developmental support to crèche or kindergarten children.
- Observe children regularly and document progress through notes and portfolio work.
- Plan and lead engaging activities that are both active and creative.
- Implement the educational and orientation framework in daily work.
- Prepare for and conduct parent discussions as well as child development meetings.
- Take part in team meetings and contribute to daily care-related tasks.
Requirements
- Completed training or qualification as an educator is required.
- A degree in early childhood education, elementary education, or a similar field is expected.
- Previous experience working with children is necessary for this role.
- Strong English proficiency is required, at approximately C1 to B2 level.
- Interest in ongoing personal and professional development is important.
- You should be motivated to use your expertise to support children in their growth.
- Teamwork is essential, and comfort in an international team environment is valued.
