Role Summary

This position is for a Senior eCommerce Manager who will take full ownership of direct-to-consumer commerce through Shopify and the Amazon business. The role is accountable for end-to-end revenue performance across DTC and marketplace channels, with a focus on growth, conversion improvement, and contribution margin. It is a central role that brings together paid media, onsite experience, merchandising, retention, and inventory so the business operates with one clear owner.

The current setup spreads eCommerce responsibilities across several teams, which has created gaps between media, site experience, and revenue outcomes. This role is meant to unify that ownership and serve as the main decision-maker across Shopify and Amazon. It is a highly hands-on position that requires fast execution and direct accountability for results.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue, Margin, and Overall Performance

  • Take full ownership of eCommerce performance across Shopify, Amazon, Meta Shop, and TikTok Shop.
  • Improve core business metrics such as conversion rate, average order value, customer acquisition cost / MER, and contribution margin.
  • Spot revenue opportunities, operating inefficiencies, and ways to improve margins.

Shopify / DTC Experience

  • Lead merchandising and site performance across the homepage, product pages, collections, and promotions.
  • Shape the onsite experience so it matches traffic sources and campaign goals.
  • Maintain tracking accuracy, quality assurance, and performance across devices.

Amazon Marketplace

  • Own performance within Amazon Seller Central and FBA, including listings, inventory, pricing, and Buy Box health.
  • Oversee or directly manage Amazon advertising formats such as Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display.
  • Improve both revenue and efficiency while balancing TACOS / ACOS with margin goals.

Marketplace and Social Commerce

  • Lead TikTok Shop and Meta Shops performance from end to end.
  • Manage product listings, merchandising, and promotional execution across those platforms.
  • Keep social commerce aligned with Shopify and Amazon so pricing, inventory, and brand presentation stay consistent.
  • Work with paid media and content teams to grow conversion and revenue through social channels.
  • Track performance, identify expansion opportunities, and optimize revenue and margin across social commerce platforms.

CRO, Testing, and Funnel Ownership

  • Own a continuous testing plan across product pages, landing pages, funnel steps, and promotional calendars.
  • Run A/B tests and other optimization efforts to lift conversion and revenue.
  • Create a repeatable process that increases testing speed and improvement over time.

Paid Media and Performance Alignment

  • Ensure paid media efforts are tightly aligned with onsite conversion performance.
  • Improve efficiency by connecting media spend to conversion and margin outcomes.
  • Influence budget distribution, landing page direction, and offer strategy.
  • Make sure traffic quality and funnel performance stay in sync.

Product Launches, Merchandising, and Inventory

  • Execute product launches, promotional activity, pricing changes, and inventory coordination.
  • Maintain high-quality product pages with strong copy, visuals, video, FAQs, and comparison charts.
  • Plan inventory with Operations and Logistics to support strong in-stock levels, healthy sell-through, and fewer revenue losses from stockouts.

Retention and Customer Experience

  • Partner with CRM teams on Klaviyo email and SMS performance and post-purchase communications.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Operations to improve returns, shipping, and customer feedback processes.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Build and maintain dashboards for DTC and Amazon performance.
  • Turn data into practical, action-oriented recommendations.
  • Keep tracking clean and reliable across Shopify, Amazon, GA4, and paid media platforms.

Cross-Regional Collaboration

  • Work closely with UK marketing teams to align campaigns, promotions, and inventory planning across regions.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Strong analytical mindset with a preference for fast execution.
  • Clear and effective cross-functional communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus.
  • Experience with Klaviyo for email and SMS.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4.
  • Experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads.
  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central and FBA.
  • Familiarity with TikTok Shop and Meta Shops.
  • Ability to use Figma.
  • Exposure to affiliate platforms such as Impact and ShareASale.

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in eCommerce, DTC, or digital commerce.
  • Strong background working with Shopify and Amazon Seller Central / FBA.
  • Proven success owning revenue or a channel P&L.
  • Solid understanding of conversion optimization, funnel performance, and how paid media affects eCommerce outcomes.
  • Experience creating and executing testing plans across product pages, landing pages, and funnels.
