About the Role
This role supports the manager across the full accounting cycle, with exposure to both group reporting and local regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Help with month-end closing activities, including the preparation of journal entries.
- Support timely reconciliation of ILP bank accounts.
- Prepare quarterly templates for group reporting and regulatory reporting submissions.
- Carry out quarterly balance sheet reconciliations, ensure all items are recorded, and investigate old or exposed balances for resolution.
- Assist in preparing semi-annual and annual fund report financial statements.
- Support daily ILP finance operations, including uploading unit prices.
- Work with the team manager on ad hoc assignments and other related matters as needed.
Requirements
- A minimum bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification, with a focus on accountancy or finance.
- Open to fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of experience in fund reporting.
- Candidates with more experience may be considered for a more senior role.
- Ability to work independently, manage tasks well, and contribute to project coordination.
- Strong communication, influencing, and presentation abilities.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong team orientation and a positive work attitude.
