Role Overview
This full-time, on-site Finance Executive position in Dubai is responsible for managing day-to-day finance activities, strengthening controls, and supporting strategic business decisions. The role covers reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, cash management, and audit support to help maintain the organization’s financial stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile core accounts such as bank, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, while supporting monthly close activities for profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Review performance trends through variance analysis, margin tracking, and monitoring of job-level profitability and cost metrics.
- Ensure service billing is converted into invoices in full, track receivables aging, handle escalations, approve credit notes when needed, and support billing reconciliations.
- Manage supplier payments and supplier account reconciliations, while keeping a close watch on operating costs and avoiding duplicate or unauthorized disbursements.
- Check payroll accuracy and coordinate payment processing with the operations team for related transactions and reconciliations.
- Maintain daily cash visibility, prepare cash flow projections, and support working capital optimization.
- Prepare VAT input and output reconciliations, review VAT return approvals before filing, and support UAE FTA compliance, audits, and regulatory checks.
- Contribute to internal control design and improvement, maintain segregation of duties, and participate in fraud-risk and audit-readiness reviews.
- Support annual budgeting, budget-versus-actual analysis, forecasting, expansion planning, and inventory-related financial oversight.
- Record financial transactions accurately in the accounting system and ensure timely processing of all relevant payments.
Requirements
- A degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
- At least 5 years of relevant finance experience is expected.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, or CPA, whether part-qualified or fully qualified, is preferred.
- Strong command of advanced Excel and financial analysis is essential.
- Solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations and compliance practices is necessary.
- Proven ability in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting is required.
- Experience in the automotive services sector will be considered an advantage.
