Finance Manager

Role overview

The Finance Manager will take ownership of day-to-day accounting activities, produce reliable financial reports, and support analysis that informs business planning and strategic choices. The position calls for a professional who combines technical accounting knowledge with sound financial judgment.

Key responsibilities

• Run routine accounting functions, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Compile financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Make sure accounting practices align with applicable standards and regulatory obligations.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis work.
• Track cash movement and overall financial performance.
• Provide direction and supervision to accounting staff in a managerial capacity.
• Work with internal and external auditors and support audit activities.
• Review financial information and turn findings into practical strategic recommendations.
• Strengthen internal controls and look for ways to improve accounting workflows.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline is required.
• CPA certification is mandatory.
• CFA certification is considered an added advantage.
• Relevant experience of 3 to 5 years for Assistant Manager-level applicants, or 5 to 8+ years for Manager-level applicants.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting practices is essential.
• Hands-on experience with ERP platforms and advanced Excel capability is expected.
• Excellent analytical ability, leadership qualities, and communication skills are important.
