The Hotel
Mandarin Oriental, Doha sits in Msheireb Downtown Doha, facing the Barahat, an open-air square framed by shopping, dining, entertainment, and cultural attractions. This boutique urban retreat combines Qatari heritage with modern design and features 249 rooms, suites, and serviced apartments, nine dining concepts, a spa rooted in traditional Oriental wellness, a rooftop pool with wide city views, and several distinctive event spaces.

Scope of Position
The Fitness Instructor delivers fitness and wellness classes and keeps the Fitness & Wellness area clean and orderly.
Responsibilities
- Follow all company and hotel policies, along with standard operating procedures, in day-to-day work.
- Carry out business activities and decisions in line with applicable laws, regulations, and internal requirements under the MOHG Code of Conduct.
- Support learning and development initiatives whenever needed.
- Apply the standards set by LQE, MOQA, and Forbes consistently.
- Protect confidential information and personal data belonging to guests, customers, and colleagues, and share it only with proper authorization.
- Use hotel systems, internet, and computers appropriately and avoid prohibited or inappropriate use that may lead to dismissal.
- Comply with all Safe, Sound and Sustainable policies and procedures.
- Observe the MOHG Social Media Policy and take full responsibility for any content published on social platforms, including personal accounts.
- Maintain a zero-tolerance approach toward harassment and discrimination of any kind.
- Represent the hotel professionally at all times and act as a brand ambassador.
- Complete other tasks assigned by management that relate to hotel operations.
- Deliver fitness and wellness classes professionally and in line with departmental SOPs.
- Keep class and programme schedules accurate and up to date.
- Ensure the fitness, studio, and changing areas remain clean, organised, and sanitary according to FLHSS&E guidelines.
- Help maintain a smooth guest experience throughout the day.
- Welcome guests warmly, acknowledge them even when only passing by, and provide a friendly, professional presence.
- Support guests proactively whenever assistance is needed.
- Build positive relationships with members and keep their records current.
- Attend required training sessions and follow all coaching set by the Fitness & Wellness Manager.
- Track stock levels for supplies used in the fitness and wellness areas.
- Monitor HOTSOS work orders and follow up until issues are resolved appropriately.
Additional Information
This role requires a strong focus on guest service, cleanliness, professional conduct, and adherence to hotel standards. The position also involves coordination with the Fitness & Wellness Manager and supporting the wider operational needs of the hotel.
