Role overview
This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity for up to 9 months, based at Sodexo’s Head Office in Balcatta, Western Australia. The position supports an internal secondment and reports to the Travel and Accommodation Team Leader.
The role suits someone with a strong background in high-volume travel and accommodation coordination. You’ll be responsible for managing bookings efficiently and accurately, including new reservations, changes, cancellations, and urgent travel needs. A key part of the job is resolving travel disruptions such as missed flights and unused travel credits while ensuring a smooth experience for employees, subcontractors, and service partners.
Working hours are rostered, with a staggered start between 7:00am and 5:00pm.
Key duties
- Arrange flight bookings and room allocations for site-based staff, while handling large booking volumes with precision.
- Oversee travel movements, including amendments, cancellations, and emergency requests, in a timely and professional manner.
- Track and address issues linked to missed flights or no-shows, identify what caused the disruption, and work toward cost-conscious resolutions.
- Keep travel documentation and records complete and organised for audits and reporting.
- Communicate travel changes and updates clearly and quickly to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Work with site managers to reduce travel interruptions and keep associated costs under control.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in booking workflows so processes remain consistent and aligned with company standards.
