Role Overview

Everbridge is hiring an FP&A Manager to join its Finance team in Vienna, Virginia. This role supports a fast-moving cloud-based business and calls for someone with strong accounting and finance expertise, familiarity with strategy frameworks and planning processes, and the ability to operate effectively in a collaborative environment where business priorities can change quickly.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and run the yearly budget cycle and monthly forecasting process, with detailed tracking of revenue, expenses, ARR, billings, and cash flow.
  • Analyze monthly financial and operational results, identify variances, and turn findings into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Act as a strategic finance partner to executive leadership by helping align financial and operating performance with company goals and strategy.
  • Spot trends, control gaps, and opportunities to improve financial processes and planning efficiency.
  • Create materials and presentations for executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Build and present ad hoc analyses and financial models to support business decisions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company’s global operations and the markets it serves.
  • Guide, mentor, and support one or more team members on an ongoing basis.

Required Background

The role requires either a master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with at least 2 years of finance experience supporting operating executives at a companywide level, or a bachelor’s degree in the same or a related field with 5 years of similar experience.

Candidates should bring hands-on experience with financial planning frameworks and processes, advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to deliver value across all levels of management. A solid accounting foundation is important, including the ability to understand how business decisions affect the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. The company also values a proven history of coaching and mentoring analysts, along with the ability to quickly learn new analytical tools and techniques.
