About the Role

This part-time, contract position at Ashandelle offers the possibility of transitioning into a full-time salaried role. The ideal candidate is a freelance web developer who collaborates with designers, animators, and marketers to create visually stunning and high-performing websites that fulfill clients' marketing objectives and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with a creative team combining design, animation, content, and coding to deliver award-winning, responsive websites.
  • Develop websites across multiple platforms such as Webflow, WordPress, and HubSpot.
  • Manage and build content primarily on marketing platforms like HubSpot.
  • Provide technical guidance on leveraging tools to better achieve client goals.
  • Implement HTML structure following SEO best practices including semantic markup, hierarchy, metadata, and alt attributes.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Automation Manager to ensure accurate data reporting.
  • Work effectively with remote colleagues and clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Expertise in responsive web development with strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of technical SEO principles.
  • Experience in WordPress development and familiarity with HubSpot, including HubL templating, forms, and APIs.
  • Proficiency with Figma Dev Mode.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal for online and client interactions.
  • Possession of your own computer and development software.
  • A programming degree, certificate, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of three years professional experience.
  • Portfolio or sample work through GitHub, CodePen, or personal websites demonstrating capabilities.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience collaborating with creative teams.
  • Familiarity with web animation tools and libraries such as Lottie, Greensock, ChartJS, or custom animations.
  • Additional unique skills or personal projects are welcomed and encouraged to be shared.

Additional Information

This is a remote role; however, candidates located in Austin, Texas are encouraged to indicate their availability for occasional in-person meetups.
