Full Time Delivery Driver

Role overview

PepsiCo Beverages is hiring a full-time delivery driver based in Owen Sound, Ontario. In this position, you will be responsible for bringing well-known beverage brands to customers across Canada while representing the company on the road and at each account.

Compensation and schedule

The pay for this position is $35.35 per hour. The standard schedule is 4 days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with the main contact at each customer site while representing the company professionally
• Deliver products accurately and on time, and unload them according to customer instructions
• Handle invoices and complete the daily account settlement process
• Restock and rotate products in different environments and ensure merchandising meets standards at every account
• Create product displays and install promotional signage such as price tags and banners
• Complete all required documentation with accuracy
• Carry out all duties safely and responsibly in line with legal and transportation requirements

Physical demands and work conditions

• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry loads of up to 50 lbs over an 8 to 10 hour shift
• Capability to move heavy items manually and with equipment, requiring strength, flexibility, agility, and coordination
• Willingness to work in changing weather and temperature conditions and to operate equipment safely in poor road or driving conditions

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with customers
• High School Diploma, Professional Studies Diploma, or equivalent
• Valid Class 1 driver’s license in good standing and a clean, safe driving record
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
• Good physical fitness
• Self-driven and capable of working with minimal supervision

Additional qualifications

• Ability to work extended hours and overtime is considered an asset
