About the role

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, works well in a busy fitness environment, and can combine hands-on cleaning duties with friendly, professional interaction with members.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all requirements set out in the Health and Safety Employee Policy and the Company Procedures Handbook.
• Maintain the JD Gyms brand standards at all times.
• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning as well as safety inspections.
• Identify and report defects so the building and equipment remain safe for use.
• Keep the entire gym facility clean to a consistently high standard.
• Maintain correct uniform standards personally.
• Provide excellent service to members at every opportunity.
• Take part in colleague training videos to support high standards across the group.
• Complete any other reasonable tasks as assigned.

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate will be diligent, detail-focused, and confident working with others. They should be able to show a strong commitment to doing more than expected, have experience in a similar position, and be comfortable handling multiple tasks without direct supervision. Good communication and a friendly, approachable manner are also important.
