Role overview

Mulpha Australia operates across real estate debt and equity investment, along with leisure, residential, commercial property development, retail, and office sectors. The business manages a diverse portfolio of premium destinations, businesses, luxury properties, and products.

This leadership role is responsible for shaping and delivering Mulpha’s technology, data, and AI direction. The position will establish the core enterprise capabilities needed to strengthen decision-making, support transformation, and improve overall business performance.

What you will do

• Lead a capable technology and data team, creating clear ownership, strong engagement, and a service-focused mindset.
• Develop and implement an integrated strategy for technology, data, and AI that supports business goals, investment priorities, and risk tolerance.
• Drive the technology and data priorities that enable enterprise-wide transformation and ensure systems, data, and processes support operating model change.
• Shape enterprise architecture and system design so solutions remain connected, scalable, and protected.
• Evaluate application and platform options across the group to reduce overlap, improve data movement, and minimise technical debt.
• Oversee daily IT operations, including infrastructure, networks, end-user support, and core business systems across Australia and Malaysia.
• Improve cyber security resilience through the right frameworks, controls, monitoring, and incident response capability.
• Manage the technology and data budget with strong financial discipline and a clear focus on return on investment.
• Own major vendor and partner relationships, including negotiations, performance reviews, and renewal decisions.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a senior technology leader with strong practical knowledge of enterprise data, analytics, AI, and automation, and the ability to turn those capabilities into tangible business outcomes.

You should have a solid understanding of enterprise IT operations, applications, infrastructure, cyber security, data governance, and modern architecture, along with a strong grasp of technology investment, vendor management, budgeting, risk, and governance.

Experience leading technology, data, and/or AI strategy, delivery, and operations is essential, as is a track record of building data capability and delivering AI, automation, or transformation initiatives that produce measurable results.

Exposure to finance transformation is required. Experience working with senior executives and boards on prioritisation, investment, governance, and risk is also important, as is capability in leading teams and managing external partners.

Experience in property, hospitality, asset-intensive, or diversified operating environments, particularly across Australia and Asia, would be highly regarded.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in technology, information systems, data, business, or a related field are required.
