Job description
Job Purpose
This trainee program aims to develop engineers over a two-year period within Fleet Technical Management and Base/Line Maintenance at Air Arabia. In Fleet Technical Management, trainees will gain experience in areas such as AMP, Systems, Reliability, Warranty, Propulsion, APU, maintenance planning, technical records, logistics, and special projects. They will learn to evaluate Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins (SBs) and implement them as business control measures. In Base and/or Line Maintenance, trainees will acquire the knowledge and experience necessary to obtain a Basic License suitable for an Engineer role. They will learn to perform and supervise maintenance tasks on Air Arabia and third-party aircraft, ensuring all work is accurately certified and recorded according to regulatory requirements.
Key Result Responsibilities - Fleet Technical Management
On a daily basis, support engineering development engineers and CAMO staff in providing assistance to maintenance operations (Line, Hangar, MCC, other CAMO departments). This includes performance reviews, analysis of requests, management reporting, implementing corrective actions, and necessary modifications. Trainees will follow an agreed training program, utilize data for supervised technical root-cause analysis and troubleshooting to determine aircraft efficiency and maintenance needs. They will analyze data and technical performance reports to identify trends, suggest solutions, and propose proactive modifications. Under supervision, trainees will identify corrective measures and modifications for damages or airworthiness findings, recommending AMP inclusions/exclusions with justification. They will review technical documents for the implementation of modifications/repairs, participate in training across various CAMO engineering functions, assist in the closure of occurrence reports, and engage in function-related meetings. Continuous personal development through required training is expected, along with performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Key Result Responsibilities - Maintenance

Under guidance, prepare and perform scheduled aircraft maintenance according to task cards, ensuring correct documentation, parts, tools, and GSE are used. Conduct aircraft test and inspection tasks to identify and record defects or damage per approved procedures. Perform defect troubleshooting and rectification following Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and Engineering Department instructions. Manage communications with other engineers and technicians for task coordination and handover. Ensure maintenance tasks are completed within planned ground time to avoid operational delays through proper planning, decision-making, and communication. Manage the safety of assigned maintenance tasks, adhering to all mandatory precautions. Take positive steps to protect personnel from injury, using proper GSE and protective equipment. Manage human factors aspects of maintenance, ensuring continuity of critical tasks by avoiding interruptions and using proper handover procedures. Provide positive support and professional advice to other operational teams. Represent Air Arabia by presenting a positive image of technical professionalism. Maintain awareness of aircraft maintenance costs, minimizing waste of time and materials by avoiding unnecessary damage and repeat work.
