Role overview

This is a strategic, high-ownership growth position focused on expanding a marketplace of paid task contributors. The core objective is to build a repeatable participant acquisition system that brings in motivated users who complete paid tasks and continue returning over time. The work is global in scope, highly experimental, and strongly data-led, with responsibility spanning from ideation through execution. You will collaborate across multiple geographies from the outset and tailor acquisition approaches to local market behavior. Performance is evaluated by activated participants and revenue efficiency rather than traffic or vanity metrics.

The role suits someone who approaches growth through systems, automation, and compounding loops rather than standalone campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand a participant acquisition engine designed to compound over time through organic loops, referrals, community-led distribution, partnerships, and market-specific outreach.
  • Create and automate growth processes using agentic tools such as LLM-based workflows, scraping systems, and no-code orchestration platforms like Zapier, Make, or n8n, along with light data handling.
  • Spot promising geographies using demand indicators and supply economics, then adjust channel tactics for each local market.
  • Take ownership of key growth outcomes, including cost per activated participant, task completion rates, repeat participation, and lifetime task value by region.
  • Run fast weekly experiments, quickly validating effective channels, dropping weak ones, and scaling the most successful growth loops.

Requirements

  • Background in growing a marketplace, gig platform, or two-sided ecosystem with clear impact on activation and retention.
  • Strong systems-oriented thinking with the ability to design growth mechanisms that scale beyond one-off campaigns.
  • Practical experience with automation and agentic tooling, including LLM-powered workflows, scraping, APIs, and no-code or low-code orchestration.
  • Experience operating in emerging or varied international markets, with an understanding of how distribution differs by locale.
  • Hands-on execution skills and comfort with writing copy, building scripts, creating dashboards, and iterating independently before broader rollout.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to connect growth actions to activation, retention, and revenue outcomes.
