Mitre 10 MEGA Brougham St is a busy, family-run Christchurch business focused on delivering outstanding service to every customer on every visit. As the business continues to grow, it is looking for an experienced hardware-focused retail team member who is enthusiastic about home improvement products and customer care.

What the role is about

You will be part of a passionate team, reporting to the Hardware Team Leader, and working on a fixed roster from Tuesday to Saturday. The role is centred on helping shoppers have a smooth, easy, and positive experience while supporting them with the products and advice they need for their projects.

Key duties

• Deliver memorable customer experiences that make shopping straightforward, pleasant, and effective.
• Create positive moments that leave customers feeling valued and supported.
• Use your interest in home improvement, product knowledge, and practical expertise to guide customers on their project requirements.
• Welcome customers warmly, connect them with the right specialist when needed, and help ensure their visit is consistently positive.

Working hours and benefits

This position is for 42.5 hours per week, with work scheduled Tuesday through Saturday.
