Its purpose is to help communities across Arizona live healthier and longer lives through tailored care and a strong focus on preventing major causes of death. The group offers care beyond standard primary care, including cardiovascular services, behavioral health, allergy testing and immunotherapy, in-house lab work, imaging, chronic disease management, and other specialty services.
The organization is looking to add a Healthcare Data Analyst who can turn healthcare data into useful insights for clinical, operational, and leadership teams. This role will help shape reporting and analysis that support better patient outcomes, improved efficiency, and stronger overall performance.
Role Overview
The Healthcare Data Analyst will work across multiple departments to build reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs that support decision-making throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for clinical, operational, and leadership users.
- Pull, clean, and examine data from healthcare databases and reporting platforms.
- Track performance indicators tied to provider productivity, operations, and patient results.
- Work with clinical and operational stakeholders to understand reporting needs and convert them into practical data solutions.
- Protect data quality by checking for inconsistencies and resolving reporting discrepancies.
- Handle ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from leadership and operational teams.
- Keep documentation up to date for data definitions, report logic, and reporting methods to maintain consistency and clarity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analytics or reporting, with healthcare background preferred.
- Strong SQL abilities and experience working with large datasets.
- Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Understanding of healthcare data elements such as CPT/ICD codes, claims data, EMR structures, or value-based care metrics.
- Professional demeanor and strong workplace presence.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
