Housekeeping Runner

Role overview

This position supports the housekeeping function by ensuring guest requests are handled quickly and accurately, while also helping the pool and fitness centre teams when needed. The role is based in Singapore and is a non-management, full-time position.

Key duties

• Answer guest requests and questions quickly and with a strong service focus.
• Arrange extra beds and baby cribs, provide shoe shine service, deliver bed and bath linen, supply guest amenities, and coordinate laundry pickups.
• Assist housekeeping operations with moving equipment and furniture, carrying out deep-cleaning tasks, and completing routine work such as linen delivery and pantry restocking.
• Track store inventory, perform regular stock checks, and inform the supervisor when supplies are running low.
• Keep the general store clean, orderly, and hygienic.
• Follow hotel safety and security standards at all times.
• Carry out basic cleaning duties in guest rooms when required.
• Accurately record daily guest loan items and runner task lists.
• Use the internal system to receive, update, and close tasks efficiently and correctly.
• Take on other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum education level: GCE 'N' level.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift, carry, and move supplies.
• Strong guest-service orientation.
• Comfortable working in a team environment.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and decide priorities effectively.
• Must be available for rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Should be able to begin work at short notice.
