Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position in Dubai for an Import Export Documentation professional. The role focuses on preparing and checking shipment paperwork for both imports and exports, coordinating with customers and overseas trading partners, and making sure all trade activities comply with relevant regulatory and legal requirements. You will help keep cross-border operations moving smoothly while maintaining effective working relationships with important stakeholders involved in the trade process.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and validate documentation required for import and export shipments.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and international trade partners to support documentation and shipment processing.
- Ensure all paperwork and processes meet applicable compliance, regulatory, and trade standards.
- Assist in the smooth execution of import-export operations from a documentation standpoint.
- Maintain accurate records and support communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the trade cycle.
Qualifications
- Hands-on knowledge of import, export, and end-to-end import-export documentation workflows.
- Understanding of international trade procedures and global regulatory practices.
- Strong client-facing communication and customer service abilities for coordination with trading partners.
- High attention to detail with the ability to handle documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Comfort using relevant software and systems for trade documentation tasks.
- Previous exposure to the chemical or trading sector will be considered an advantage.
- A bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
- Well-developed organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
