Job description

About GoodRx

GoodRx operates as a major prescription savings platform in the United States, helping consumers access affordable options for generic and brand-name medications at more than 70,000 pharmacies nationwide. The company also provides healthcare research and information, and supports consumers, employers, health plans, and others who want more affordable prescriptions. Since 2011, GoodRx has helped people save nearly $75 billion on prescription costs.

GoodRx is also described as America's healthcare marketplace, offering a broad resource for affordable medications, price information from thousands of pharmacies, and a tele-health marketplace for online doctor visits and lab tests. The company says more than 25 million consumers and 750,000 healthcare professionals use its services annually, and that millions of consumers visit goodrx.com each month. It is also noted as the #1 most downloaded medical app on iOS and Android.

About the Role

The Insights team is seeking an Insights Manager with a mixed-methods research background. This role focuses on leading strategic research studies across consumer product offerings while also providing analytics and technical support to the team when needed. The work centers on turning research into actionable business insights for product, leadership, sales, and design stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Design and run complex product and audience research studies that shape and improve subscription services and core product offerings.
  • Own longitudinal measurement programs such as CSAT, NPS, and other KPI studies for internal and external reporting across product lines.
  • Support the Insights team with analytics work, including pulling customer data and building dashboards in Redshift, Tableau, and Lookr.
  • Use multiple primary and secondary quantitative data sources to answer business questions and develop a well-rounded view of the problem.
  • Manage research execution end to end, including sampling, data collection, cleaning, and weighting to maintain high data quality.
  • Perform data analysis such as cross-tabulation and dashboard creation to surface meaningful findings.
  • Build clear, concise reports that explain findings to non-research audiences, including senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

What Success Looks Like

  • Translating data into insights that directly support business decisions and product strategy.
  • Blending quantitative and qualitative methods to enrich analysis and strengthen recommendations.
  • Working independently, moving quickly, and identifying new research opportunities proactively.
  • Communicating findings in a compelling, structured way that is easy for different audiences to understand.
  • Applying a business lens to research so findings can inform product development and revenue growth.
  • Comfortably navigating ambiguity and operating effectively in a fast-moving environment.
  • Using AI tools to improve research efficiency and workflow.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 8+ years of professional experience in consumer research, user experience research, or analytics, with a bachelor’s degree; or 6 years of experience with a master’s degree.
  • Strong hands-on experience with survey design, sampling, weighting, and basic statistical analysis.
  • Expert-level ability in Alchemer or Qualtrics.
  • Experience with Dscout, UserInterviews, or a comparable qualitative research tool.
  • Solid command of SQL, Redshift, and Tableau.
  • Ability to build polished presentations in PowerPoint or Google Slides and present data clearly with concise visuals.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to summarize complex findings for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in healthcare is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience using AI research tools is preferred but not mandatory.
