Job description
Job Purpose
We are looking for an enthusiastic and career-oriented professional to join Tamer Group as a Group Internal Auditor focusing on Operations. This position is vital for ensuring operational excellence throughout our warehouse network. The role involves evaluating processes, verifying compliance, and pinpointing areas for enhancement within a dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform internal audits specifically targeting warehouse operations and related business procedures.
- Undertake regular travel to various warehouse sites throughout the Kingdom for on-site audits and assessments.
- Evaluate compliance with internal policies, governmental regulations (including labor laws and SFDA), and quality benchmarks (such as GWP, GDP).
- Employ data analysis techniques and audit software to detect operational risks and process inefficiencies.
- Generate comprehensive audit reports and communicate findings and recommendations to management.
- Engage with various teams to foster process improvements and resolve operational issues.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or Finance.
- Have 1 to 2 years of relevant professional experience, with a preference for candidates who have prior experience in Internal Audit.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English, coupled with strong communication and presentation capabilities.
Technical Skills
- Essential: Advanced skills in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Essential: Be technologically adept, with familiarity in using AI tools.
- Advantageous: Prior experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, SAGE, MS Dynamics), Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Beneficial: Experience utilizing audit software such as Pentana, Ideagen, TeamMate, or Archer.
Certifications
- Professional certifications like CIA Part 1 (or currently pursuing it) and qualifications in Lead Quality, ISO, or OSHA are highly desirable.
Mobility
- Must be willing and able to travel frequently between warehouses located in different cities across the Kingdom as needed.
