Job description
About the Role
Wargames Atlantic is seeking a highly organized and data-driven Inventory & Operations Coordinator to take full responsibility for the global stock lifecycle and customer service support systems. This is a remote-first position with significant flexibility, though proximity to one of our UK operational hubs (Telford or Derby) is advantageous due to the role's critical link between physical logistics and digital data. You will be instrumental in implementing a new stock control system, managing international warehouse partnerships (US & UK), and optimizing logistics for new product introductions. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver skilled in integrating data, warehouse management, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the deployment of a new stock control system and assume full operational ownership post-launch.
- Analyze sales data to categorize product segments, manage forecasting models, and establish automated low-stock alerts.
- Collaborate with US and UK third-party logistics (3PL) partners and suppliers to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and lead times are improved.
- Process material orders, maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM), and conduct regular stock reconciliations.
- Oversee the logistical arrangements for new product launches, ensuring optimal stock distribution across regional warehouses before launch dates.
- Act as the main liaison for Sales and Marketing departments, providing up-to-date information on stock availability and the product pipeline.
- Manage and enhance the customer service workflow, working with other departments to resolve complex issues and maintain service quality standards.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience with or a strong capacity for dedicated stock control systems and data-driven inventory management.
- A meticulous, analytical approach with the ability to identify cost-saving measures and resolve operational challenges.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with both warehouse staff and senior management.
- A highly structured work methodology focused on data accuracy, report generation, and precise inventory control.
- Comfortable working remotely, with a willingness to travel occasionally to physical sites in Telford, Derby, or Florida as required by business needs.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain near-perfect accuracy between physical inventory counts and digital records.
- Ensure the seamless and timely execution of logistical plans for all product launches.
- Deliver comprehensive weekly and monthly operational reports to management, detailing stock levels, cost metrics, and customer service performance.
Additional Information
This role requires occasional travel to physical hubs in Telford, Derby, or Florida.
