Role Overview
This is a remote, entry-level part-time position for an IT Support Analyst. The selected person will help end users with technical problems, set up desktop systems and software, and handle help desk questions. The role focuses on identifying issues quickly and resolving them so day-to-day work continues smoothly and users receive a reliable support experience.
What You’ll Do
- Assist users with technical support requests and help desk queries.
- Investigate desktop, software, and general IT problems and work toward practical fixes.
- Support the setup and maintenance of desktop computers and related software.
- Diagnose issues and take steps to restore normal system operation.
- Contribute to smooth workflow by resolving technical concerns in a timely manner.
What We’re Looking For
- Comfort working with technical support and help desk processes.
- Good problem-solving ability and confidence in troubleshooting issues.
- Basic understanding of desktop systems and software maintenance.
- Foundational knowledge of information technology concepts.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Ability to work independently while being remote.
- Certification such as CompTIA A+ is considered an advantage.
- A bachelor’s degree or relevant coursework in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar area is preferred, though not mandatory.
Work Setup
This position is fully remote and designed for part-time availability. It is open at an entry level, making it suitable for candidates beginning their careers in IT support.
