Role Overview

Mi Dulce Hogar is looking for an enthusiastic, technically minded IT Support Assistant at junior level to join its IT function in Australia. This full-time onsite role is designed for early-career candidates who want practical experience supporting everyday technology operations across the business.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver first-line assistance for hardware, software, and basic network-related problems.
  • Help employees with account creation, access requests, and password resets.
  • Set up, configure, and support desktops, laptops, printers, and other connected devices.
  • Provide support for Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and commonly used business software.
  • Identify and resolve routine technical issues promptly and effectively.
  • Record, track, and update incidents and requests in the IT ticketing platform.
  • Refer more complex technical matters to senior IT colleagues when needed.
  • Assist with IT equipment control, asset records, and stock/inventory checks.
  • Support maintenance activities, system patching, and rollout/deployment tasks.
  • Prepare clear documentation for technical issues, fixes, and support workflows.

What We’re Looking For

  • A diploma or bachelor’s qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
  • Basic familiarity with computer hardware, operating systems, and software support.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Some understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP would be beneficial.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability and a practical approach to solving problems.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with a helpful customer-service attitude.
  • Ability to work on your own as well as collaborate with a wider team.
  • Willingness to learn quickly and adapt in a busy IT environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational habits.
  • Previous internship or entry-level IT support exposure is an added advantage.
