Role overview
TCS Asia Pacific is hiring an experienced JIRA Administrator for its Perth, Australia location. This role calls for a seasoned professional who can manage and optimize Jira within a large enterprise setup, while also supporting integrations and helping maintain high-quality service through strong technical administration.
What you will do
- Administer Jira in a complex enterprise environment and keep the platform running effectively.
- Design, configure, and maintain workflows, custom screens, custom fields, permission structures, and notification rules.
- Set up and manage role-based access control across Atlassian tools.
- Maintain clean and reliable Jira data, and build dashboards and reports using JQL.
- Support and monitor Jira integrations, with a strong focus on Exalate.
- Handle administration and oversight of third-party tool integrations linked to Jira.
- Investigate issues, troubleshoot problems, and work through technical challenges efficiently.
- Document processes clearly and explain technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
What the employer is looking for
- At least 8 years of experience in Jira administration.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of configuring Jira for enterprise-scale use.
- Practical experience with Exalate integration, including monitoring and administration.
- Ability to work with RBAC and related Atlassian administration tasks.
- Good command of JQL-based reporting and dashboard creation.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Confident communication and documentation skills.
- Capability to translate technical details for audiences without a technical background.
