Overview
Orbital Critical Systems, part of Grupo CAF, develops safety-critical software for the aerospace, defence, and transport sectors. The company is hiring Junior Avionics Engineers for ground and flight test work to support Airbus-related projects in Germany. The role is based on-site and may involve assignments in Manching, Donauwörth, Ulm, and other locations across the country.
What you will be doing
- Preparing avionics ground-test and flight-test activities, including flight test program support.
- Carrying out ground testing on aircraft and monitoring live flight tests in real time.
- Reviewing test results, identifying deviations, and preparing analysis reports.
- Building analysis tools and software while helping define technical requirements.
- Working closely with design, development, and test teams across functions.
What the employer is looking for
- A degree in Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related subject.
- Practical experience with avionics testing and data analysis.
- English proficiency at B2/C1 level, which is mandatory.
- German proficiency at B1/B2 level, which is mandatory.
- Citizenship from a European country.
Compensation and benefits
- Annual compensation in the range of €50,000 to €65,000.
