Role overview

We are hiring a proactive Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to help safeguard systems, networks, and data against security risks. In this role, you will support day-to-day security monitoring, help spot weaknesses, and contribute to incident response while building practical cybersecurity skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Keep an eye on security alerts, logs, and system activity to detect possible threats.
  • Support the review, investigation, and resolution of security incidents.
  • Assist with vulnerability checks and security audit activities.
  • Help update and maintain security policies, procedures, and related documentation.
  • Carry out basic risk evaluations and suggest ways to strengthen security.
  • Support the deployment and ongoing monitoring of security controls and tools.
  • Stay current with new cybersecurity threats, trends, and industry practices.

What we are looking for

  • A bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar discipline is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, networking concepts, and operating systems.
  • Exposure to security solutions such as firewalls, antivirus tools, and threat monitoring platforms.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to pick up new concepts quickly and perform well in a fast-moving environment.
  • Careful attention to detail and a strong commitment to security best practices.
