Junior Data Analyst

Role Overview

This part-time, remote Junior Data Analyst position with Elo Assessoria em Gente e Gestão is centered on enabling data-backed decisions within people and organizational management work. The role supports internal and external initiatives by turning raw information into organized, useful insights.

What You’ll Do

You will contribute to day-to-day analytics work such as gathering data, cleaning and structuring datasets, producing regular reports, creating straightforward dashboards, and carrying out basic statistical checks to surface trends and patterns. You will also help document analysis methods, uphold data quality standards, and prepare easy-to-understand summaries and visuals for internal teams. In addition, you’ll work alongside senior analysts and consultants to support client projects and improve internal processes.

Qualifications

• Solid analytical thinking and a foundational grasp of data analytics for interpreting datasets and supporting decisions.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and quantitative methods to complete descriptive analysis and confirm results.
• Introductory familiarity with data modeling concepts for organizing information for reporting and analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to share findings clearly and work with different teams.
• Comfort using spreadsheets and common data tools such as Excel or Google Sheets; exposure to SQL, Python, or BI tools is an added advantage.
• Capability to work independently in a remote environment, stay organized, and deliver work on schedule.
• Careful attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and confidentiality when handling data.
• Preferred background includes coursework or a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; prior internship or project experience in data analysis is beneficial.
