Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position in Abu Dhabi for a Junior Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer. In this role, you will support the commercial side of construction projects by handling measurement, cost estimation, valuation, budgeting, and cost tracking. You will also contribute to tender preparation, review project specifications, coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, keep project records organized, and help prepare financial updates for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

The role includes assisting with quantity surveying tasks across the project lifecycle, supporting cost planning and control, and helping ensure that financial and contractual information is accurate and up to date.

Required Skills and Knowledge

Successful candidates should understand quantity surveying methods, measurement techniques, tendering processes, and contract administration. The position also requires strong analytical ability, familiarity with construction project workflows, and confidence using tools such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and cost-control software. Knowledge of UAE construction regulations, standards, and building codes is an added advantage. Good communication and collaboration skills are important for working with architects, consultants, and suppliers.

Qualifications

A degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a closely related field is required. Prior experience in construction is helpful, but fresh entry-level candidates may also be considered.
