Junior Travel & Tourism Manager

About the role

Meraki Tours & Travels is hiring a proactive, detail-focused Travel Operations & Sales Executive to manage travel planning end to end while also contributing to sales growth. The role calls for solid destination knowledge, confident communication, and the ability to turn enquiries into confirmed bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to travel enquiries and convert leads into finalized bookings.
• Create tailored domestic and international travel itineraries.
• Work with DMCs, hotels, airlines, and other travel partners to coordinate arrangements.
• Oversee bookings, reservations, and confirmation processes.
• Ensure trips are executed smoothly from planning through completion.
• Deliver strong customer service and support after the sale.
• Negotiate pricing and build cost-effective travel packages.
• Maintain client records and stay in touch to encourage repeat business.

Experience and skill expectations

• 1 to 2 years of experience in travel sales or travel operations.
• Good knowledge of domestic and international destinations.
• Strong verbal and written communication, along with negotiation ability.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Comfort with travel booking platforms.
• Prior exposure to DMCs and travel vendors is preferred.
• Strong persuasion skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset are an advantage.

Location and compensation
