iData Research is a Canada-based market research and consulting firm focused on the healthcare sector. The company supports global medical device makers, pharmaceutical organizations, and healthcare innovators by providing research-backed insights and strategic recommendations.
As the client portfolio expands, the organization is looking for a motivated Key Account Manager to strengthen relationships, coordinate project delivery, and support business growth.
Role Summary
This position is centered on managing a portfolio of healthcare clients, maintaining strong satisfaction levels, encouraging repeat work, and contributing to revenue growth. The role combines account management, consultative selling, and strategic client partnership.
Work Location and Type
The role is remote. For team members based in the Greater Vancouver area, the arrangement is hybrid.
This is a full-time position at a mid-level experience stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for an assigned group of healthcare-sector clients.
- Coordinate and monitor market research and consulting assignments from launch through delivery.
- Support strong client retention by responding proactively and building long-term partnerships.
- Spot opportunities to expand accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
- Bring in new business and help grow the client base.
- Work closely with research, sales, and product teams to ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard.
- Lead client conversations, presentations, and business review meetings.
- Keep client records and activity logs accurate and up to date in CRM systems.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in account management or client services within a B2B environment, ideally in healthcare, market research, SaaS, or consulting.
- A demonstrated history of managing complex client relationships and multi-stage projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with presentation and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of the healthcare space, especially medical devices or life sciences, is an advantage.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related discipline.
Compensation and Benefits
- Total target compensation is CA$110,000 to CA$140,000+ per year.
- The package includes base pay, commission, on-target earnings, profit sharing, and a team bonus.
